Why is there no melatonin?

Melatonin is ok to take every now and then, but for a nightly supplement it can lower the body’s natural melatonin production causing a dependency. Many people have also claimed to feel groggy the next morning. 

How long before bedtime should I take this supplement?

 30 minutes or any time during your nightly routine this supplement can be taken. For desired taste, add 1 scoop to 8-12oz of water
